Cleveland, Ohio – January 9, 2009 — Habitat for Humanity implements background check process for volunteers
Habitat for Humanity’s goal is to eliminate substandard housing, to build relationships and communities as well as houses, and to make decent housing for everyone. Habitat for Humanity builds or renovates houses using as much volunteer labor and donated material as possible.
The Habitat for Humanity, Burlington County New Jersey Chapter, has begun a screening program which screens out potentially hazardous volunteer applicants.
As part of their corporate giving program, background checks will be provided at no cost to the Habitat for Humanity, Burlington County chapter, by Crimcheck Inc.
“With the economy moving in the direction it is, this is our chance to give something back to an organization whose sole focus is to get people back on their feet,” Said Crimcheck president, Ted L. Moss.
Crimcheck is a nationwide provider of pre-employment screening services with corporate offices located in Berea, Ohio.
