For the last 30 years, Crimcheck has worked towards one goal: to provide companies with a Safe Hiring Advantage.

Some highlights:

  • 2000’s: Crimeassure was first rolled out.
  • 2009: We went completely paperless internally.
  • 2010: We launched our integrated platform.
  • 2011: We launched our proprietary Applicant Link platform.
  • 2015: We deployed Digger, our proprietary RPA, to improve turnaround time.
  • 2016: We launched our E-Verify service.
  • 2018: We achieved over 2,000 automations in daily processes.
  • 2020: We introduced Form I-9 solution.
  • 2021 and beyond: You will have to wait and see.

Starting in 1991, as Insight Research, 2 team members began to help companies by offering pre-employment screening and background checks for their applicants, making their job less complicated and increasing employee retention across the boards. Along the way, we evolved into The Background Network (1993), Crimcheck.com (1997) and now in 2021: Crimcheck Technologies.

Crimcheck prides itself on making our team and culture a priority. We started out with 2 employees in 1991 and have currently grown our staff by 3,250% since our inception and have team members throughout several states in the U.S. Our leadership team has been with Crimcheck for an average of 8+ years with an average of 13 years of industry experience, which makes us one great place to work.

An innovation leader within the industry, Crimcheck was among the first to offer online application links. Innovation equals simplification. We are one of only a handful of companies that can text a link to applicants for them to electronically sign their background check authorization. Crimcheck’s components have 10x’ed in the last decade alone.

In addition, Crimcheck has been on the Inc. 5000 List for 5 years in a row and has been awarded the HRO Today Baker’s Dozen Award for Exemplary Customer Satisfaction Ratings. Crimcheck has worked relentlessly to become PBSA Accredited, which only 10% of background screening association members receive this honor.

Crimcheck is certified by the National Minority Development Council as a Minority Owned Business and is also self-certified through the SBA as a Woman Owned Business. 64% of our team is women.
