Crimcheck will promptly investigate the specific information/records that you are disputing. Crimcheck also has trained customer service representatives who can work with you if you need assistance identifying the specific information/records that you want to dispute. You may receive a call from our Reinvestigation Department in order to clarify the details you have submitted to us.

You should generally receive the results of Crimcheck’s investigation within thirty (30) days of submitting a completed Dispute Form.

Consumer privacy is important to Crimcheck. The Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., (the “FCRA“), is the federal statute that regulates consumer background reports, and makes it a crime for persons to knowingly and willfully obtain consumer background report information from consumer reporting agencies such as Crimcheck, under false pretenses.

By submitting your Dispute Form to Crimcheck or otherwise disputing your consumer report information with Crimcheck, please understand that you are certifying to Crimcheck that: (i) you are the individual consumer whose information you are disputing; (ii) the personal and contact information you provide is complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge; (iii) the information you are disputing is inaccurate or incomplete.
